Magi Sinclair worked for twenty years in the fashion industry, the latter part working for Pringle of Scotland's fashion team where she took designer's sketches from concept to garment and worked in Milan on their exclusive show collections.
She spent four years at Edinburgh College of Art studying drawing and painting as a mature student. In her final year, she won the college’s inaugural Astaire Art Prize followed by the national 2014 Hermione Hammond Drawing Award. In 2015, she was selected by the Federation of British Artists to show work in their third annual FBA Futures exhibition of outstanding art graduates at the Mall Galleries in London.
She has since returned from the Scottish Borders to her native Caithness where she works part-time at Thurso Art Gallery and exhibits locally.
